Through to the end of 2019, the company is planning to help familiarize more than 1,000 senior school pupils from Elabuga and Naberezhnyye Chelny with how the company’s production site in Naberezhnyye Chelny works.

The “Week without Turnstiles” Russia-wide campaign is an event aimed at providing vocational guidance for school children. The pupils are provided with opportunities to find out about the activities of the largest companies operating in their region. In Tatarstan, this is enabling the children to gain insights into the operations of the best high-tech companies in the Republic.

Since 2014, the event has been held twice a year, being one of the elements of the large-scale “Work in Russia!” vocational guidance project.

— Today we believe that it is important for Chelny’s secondary vocational education to be focused on the food industry and, in particular, on confectionery. Only highly qualified specialists should work on production lines that can cost more than 1 billion rubles. That is the only way to ensure the high labor productivity at the plant.

Essen Production AG JSC confectionery production is a fast-growing enterprise that needs skilled staff. In 2019, a third confectionery production facility was opened, creating 90 additional jobs. Today, there are twelve production lines in operation at the plant, and the launch of the thirteenth is being prepared. There is no doubt that high-tech manufacturing facilities of this kind of scale are in acute need of qualified food industry specialists.

As part of Essen Production’s policy aimed at attracting young staff, the company works closely with various educational institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Since 2017, the company has been collaborating with the Naberezhnyye Chelny trade vocational-technical school. From May 2019, the company has carried out practical training for the school’s students in the specialties of confectioner and of baker-technologist.
