    From 14 to 18 October the confectionery manufacturer Essen Production AG JSC organized visits for more than 150 school children as part of the “Week without Turnstiles” Russian campaign. Through to the end of 2019, the company is planning to help familiarize more than 1,000 senior school pupils from Elabuga and Naberezhnyye Chelny with how the company’s production site in Naberezhnyye Chelny works.

  • EAT CANDY: ESSEN PRODUCTION JSC EXPANDS ITS CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTION IN TATARSTAN

    The company has launched a new candy production line in Naberezhnyye Chelny. Last week, the red ribbon was cut by Leonid Baryshev, General Director of Essen Production AG JSC. The new line has started producing chewy caramel. Dmitry Zhirnov, the Deputy General Director of Confectionery Production, introduced journalists to the candy production process. A “BV” reporter also visited the production site.

    The confectionery plant in Naberezhnyye Chechnya has become Essen Production AG’s largest investment project. The company has invested more than 5 billion rubles in production. Leonid Baryshnikov, the holding’s co-owner, announced today that, in 2017-2018, alone, investments there amounted to 800 million rubles.

  • ESSEN PRODUCTION AG IS RUSSIA’S LEADER IN LABOR PRODUCTIVITY

    (Kazan, 29 October, “Tatar-Inform”). This year, was the fifth annual “Production Management” business portal awards ceremony. The main theme of the award “Labor Productivity: Leaders in Russian Manufacturing” was to identify those Russian companies leading in terms of their labor force productivity. For this, data were analyzed from more than 5,000 manufacturing companies across the country, covering total proceeds amounting to over 51% of Russian GDP, and a total of more than 5.5 million employees.
